We have arrived!

We are here!  We have only minutes to offer an update today.  Our flights went remarkably well.  There were no issues whatsoever and we made it through security without paying one single penny.  In fact, they waved us through without even checking any bags.  This is a huge praise and we are told very unusual!!!

We attended two church services today and Lynn preached for both.  There is so much to tell about even this one simple experience, but just know for now since that everyone was blessed.  Sitting in church with Zimbabweans while Lynn preaches in both English and Shona will be a lifetime highlight for every person on this team. We have been so welcomed and embraced by the people here.  Over and over again, they thank us for coming, and over and over again we thank them and God for this privilege.

The children coming to the camp are arriving as I type, that is why I must cut this post short. We will be back in touch very soon.  Please pray for all of us to shine Jesus to these precious children who have never attended a camp.  Pray for all the workers at Hands of Hope, who are tirelessly working to serve God's people.  These men and women are saints, truly the salt of the earth.  Your prayers are precious to us and we are thanking God for you today from Africa.

So much love to you all!

  1. Hey "Team Zim",

Thank you for taking time to make a blog post with a picture! How great to know y'all arrived safely along with the luggage. AND not custom's fees. That certainly was a major answer to prayer!

I will continue to lift you before the Throne of Heaven as you encourage the workers and for God's fruit that will remain through the camp for the children!

    God's blessing to each one!
